They should come clean. They are willing to push poverty even higher to fund an unnecessary surge in military spending.

But the facts are very different.
Britain spends more on the military than every large economy in NATO, except the USA.
The Defence resignations have sparked a lot of nonsense about inadequate military spending.

Yet we have already become the world's 3rd largest spender on nuclear weapons, surpassing Russia.
