The worst part of this stadium business is how many people look at it through a political lens when they're judging it.
I'm independent, so I can give two shits about the political side of it.
My view is simple:
The
#Bears are my favorite thing in life outside of my family, my friends and my beautiful gal.
They're my #1 interest. I love the
#ChicagoBears.
I want my favorite football team to get the best deal they can that will allow
#DaBears to provide
#BearsNation with the state-of-the-art stadium that they deserve.
I want the best fans in all of sports to be supplied with the best fan experience possible.
As long as they're asking for the same things as the rest of the
#NFL franchises - and they are - and they're staying within the Chicagoland area, then I don't have any problem with the way they're going about their business.
Thus, at this time, I want them to accept the Indiana deal because it's the best one on the table.
It really sucks that this has boiled down to politics for so many people, even the diehard fans, instead of what's best for the Bears.
Politics suck dingdongs.
