If you don’t thank Him for all you accomplish with His help, then you are heading for a fall, and spurning the Only One who can help you to avoid it. “Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” - Proverbs 16 v8 Be like Him, learn of Him, Jesus Himself says: “…learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” - Matthew 11 v29 If the Creator, Sustainer, and Savior of the Universe is “meek” then why should we glory in our own selves? “Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lordwhich exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.” - Jeremiah 9 v23-25 If you don’t know Him, then you aren’t living.
