I recently collaborated with Heart of Glass on a short article about their Strong Women of Knowsley project.
It features the inspiring voices of local women captured through a series of oral history interviews.
I’d love for you to give it a read 💛

The summer of 1976 is widely remembered as one of the hottest and driest in UK history. The country endured a prolonged heatwave, with temperatures soaring above 32°C ☀️
Halewood, 1976.
Come along to the Eagle and Child pub on Friday 28th February from 10 am to 12 pm to see photographs and objects from Halewood's past. It's a nice opportunity to connect with local history and see some fascinating items from the area and have a nice hot drink ☕️
The rent account belonging to Sarah Lunt from 1878 -1882.
According to the 1881 census, Sarah was a 64-year-old widow and head of household. She managed a 9-acre farm located on Higher Road, Halewood.
Over the past few years, I've built up a collection of items relating to the history of Halewood.
Would it be of interest to you or anyone you know if I put a local exhibition together for people to see these in real life in 2025. Thinking a coffee morning or something similar.
