Don’t forget, in fiction, it’s okay for the villain to threaten a city or a coastline. Even a single building can be in danger. Not everything needs to threaten the whole galaxy, the very fabric of reality or the multiverse itself. Write on.

Having a bit of fun developing my charismatic villain. I’ve given the last name to two other characters as The Judicator’s last name has bothered me for some time. Suddenly now villain has both a brother and a father. What fun! (Dukenon isn’t Thor and The Judicator isn’t Odin.)

Took the Rav to Canadian Tire. Their diagnosis names the main engine control unit (ECU) as the culprit. Looking at maybe a couple of grand. More than just the weekend has imploded from this.

Not sure how I feel about having two characters come in at the very end to close things out and saving the day, but my MC can’t make it in time. On a galactic scale, even travelling through subspace, crossing star systems takes time. Time that Cecelia doesn’t have. #OurFate

Book Three of #OurFate is still in the sixth draft and has now crossed 95k…again. I’ve unknotted the many plot threads and sorted them out. This project is the most focused it’s ever been and I’m happy with where this is going. Lots more to look forward to.
