In singing assembly this week, I began to teach the children ‘If you’re happy and you know it” in sign language to promote the importance of expressing our feelings through any means of communication. Each week we will the sign of a different emotion to add a new verse ☺️

Using multilink to show how long different events took within the Ancient Greek timeline (revisited vocab duration), and then compared to the events in the Maya timeline (previous civilisation studied this yr) Historical discussions were immense 😍 go Year 5/6! @HamblePrimary

Year 5/6 had an exciting morning finding out about Space. We were very lucky to have @Rowancurtis20, a space scientist, come in and tell us all about the moon, black holes and how they can use thermal imaging to find out about the planets.

We were very pleased to welcome @HedgeEndPolice to school today to meet some of our children and share cycle safety advice and other community support ideas. We look forward to seeing our local officers back soon to join the children for lunch!
