Why why why do news channels send news readers to stand outside of buildings etc for very little reason. Ridiculous that a @BBCNews crew plus several reporters are standing in a field, in the dark near Trump’s golf course. Adds nothing.

I asked my grandson what his favourite part of his trip to London today was. He said ‘the toy shop’…..he didn’t go to one..he elaborated ‘with the magazines’… he meant @WHSmith at Charing Cross station 😂

Whilst #StormDarragh is still a few hours away it’s time to batten down those hatches. Seems to be very gusty - F5-7 in the #Solent now, it’s due to hit over 50 knots by 10am tomorrow with high tide at 05:00 and 14:45. Take care out there!

In and out of Ishigaki today. Small port on the party island of Japan. Interesting boards around the town telling tourists what to do in the event of an earthquake or tsunami. Very reassuring!
