At a time when the price of groceries is squeezing families, Washington shouldn’t be taking away food from the mouths of hungry children. Now 25,000 Kansans are scrambling to figure out where their next meal will come from thanks to the decisions of politicians like Roger Marshall. We need someone in Washington who actually stands up for the vulnerable and be a champion for Kansans. - AH

Everywhere I go Kansans are telling me costs are out of control, and it’s getting harder and harder just to make ends meet. And now, we just had the highest inflation reading in three years. Prices are heading in the wrong direction and Washington politicians like Roger Marshall are only making it worse. I’ve spent my career as a pastor listening to Kansans. We need leaders who will stop making their lives harder and start fixing the affordability crisis. - AH

I can’t standby while the people I love in Kansas suffer from the decisions coming out of Washington by politicians like Roger Marshall. For 36 years as a pastor, I’ve spent my career bringing Democrats, Republicans, and independents together. I’m going to listen, bring people together, and fight for Kansans.

When screwworm is spreading and threatening our ranchers & livestock producers, it's disappointing Roger Marshall is blaming everyone else for the consequences of his decision not to listen to Kansans. The timeline is clear. March 2025: Marshall clapped as Washington slashed vital programs to monitor screwworm. He fled from a town hall of Kansans concerned about these kinds of cuts, and his office even mocked them as not 'real Kansans.' July 2025: Marshall stands next to Secretary Rollins to praise her efforts on combatting screwworm and 'protecting our farmers' January 2026: Marshall told KSNW that "we're in a really good spot" on stopping screwworm June 2026: Screwworm is detected in US cattle for the first time in decades. Hamilton said he had received support from Pentecostal and evangelical churches 'that are typically more conservative but have said they’re not OK with what’s happening in Washington DC, that this sort of Christian nationalism does not represent the Christianity that [they] believe in' ... The Hub has built a community market, clothing pantry, community garden, and commercial kitchen to uplift the Argentine neighborhood. While I was in Emporia yesterday, I had the opportunity to talk with KVOE about our campaign and what I’m hearing from Kansans all over our state. Families living paycheck to paycheck are struggling when gas costs a dollar more a gallon at the pump. I’ve listened to producers tell me that tariffs by tweet are blowing up the markets they spent years building. Small businesses can’t afford to pass on rising costs, and are left with even less to pay their employees. And decisions in Washington are only making the cost of living crisis worse.
