Last night, I was confirmed as Substantive Inspector for the Operational Support Unit. Across my 8 years of clanning, I’ve been part of countless projects and communities, but none have come close to what Hampset represents. The atmosphere, the drive for realism, and the attention to detail make it something truly different. It’s somewhere that constantly pushes standards higher and brings out the best in everyone involved. I was here five years ago as Hampset’s first developer, and when I came back in March, it truly felt like returning to a home I’d never forgotten. With the incredible support of UO Leadership, I’ve been able to progress into this role and with the trust of COG, I’ve had the opportunity to transform how we do roleplay completely. From new systems to immersive features, we’ve built something that makes Hampset genuinely unique in the British RP scene. We’ve achieved so much already, but this is only the beginning.
