I totally agree that the interests of Israel don't always align with ours, and we should look out for our interests first. But when it comes to Iran, Israel's interests are that they should never have nuclear weapons and that they should stop funding and arming terrorist proxies all over the world. If our interests on that diverge, they shouldn't.
