(2/2) For those 10 minutes in @EASPORTSWRC the rest of the world melted away and all that existed was the road, the pace notes, and my car. It was exactly the reset I needed to find the strength to go back in to do my job another day. That's how video games can make a difference.

(1/2) If you ever doubted the importance of video games... I just finished a very hard shift in the ED that involved the death of a 1 week old from SIDS. I'm back in tonight and with the 10 free minutes I had before going to work. I booted up @EASPORTSWRC for a run up Turini.

Of all the thrills rally offers, I always find sharing the roads with your heros is near the top of the list. Following @OttTanak and @KalleRovanpera to the start of the first stage this morning on @cerwrc. Also, the autumn colors were. ๐

My honest assessment of the spectating experience at @cerwrc so far. Very well organized (natรผrlich Deutsch), however... The official spectator areas are set so far back from the stages it borders on absurdity. (1/2)

I think I'm done with #RallyTV for awhile. Just a terrible user experience and a huge step backwards from WRC . I'm going with @DirtFishRally and their fantastic live center from now on.

WRC world, help me out. If @JonArmstrong84 goes balls to the wall the next two days and wins every stage, can he still get the @FIAJuniorWRC championship if he finishes 2nd in the rally? Or does he need to win @AcropolisRally?

I feel like we should give credit where credit is due. This entire season, people have been clamouring for more stage side footage on @OfficialWRC #WRCLive. It seems in Finland and again here in Ypres, we're seeing a lot more.

I just noticed this mountain formation on @wrcsafarirally. Does anytime know... Is this why the stage is called "Sleeping Warrior"? Does anytime else see it?

Unlike many people, a lot of the @wrcsafarirally stages don't thrill me. Mainly due to the flat and open profile. But this new stage, Geothermal is fantastic! Super rough, lots of elevation change, but fast and flowing too. So much variety packed into just 11km's!

Listening to the latest @absolute_rally and their thoughts about @FIAERC... @TonySimpson74, I think you're on to something that the ERC is starting to become a destination championship. I just think they need a few more high profile rallies... Maybe those dropped by the WRC?

Catching up on @FIAERC @rajdpolski, and I can't help but feel like the #ERCLive coverage is more engaging than #WRCLive. More frequent and dynamic exterior shots and more varied onboard angles. I'm finding it so much more enjoyable to watch as the #WRCLive has become a bit stale.

I've just spent a week in Porto for @rallydeportugal and as amazing as that has been, finding out that the regional rally in Oregon was named "Dodging Dysentery Rally" put the biggest smile on my face all weekend. Well played @OregonTrailRly... Well played. ๐

Can't help but wonder, with the puncture lottery we've been having in the WRC this season, is it time to bring back the self-inflating mousse from the 00's? It's ridiculous to see so many cars retiring due to punctures... ๐
