Just a reminder this #SuicidePreventionDay that you have NO IDEA what anyone is battling with, or battled through. I nearly lost my life from a suicide attempt 5 years ago, but looking at me you would have no idea. Mental illness has no face. Be kind to everyone you meet.

As a librarian, it drives me crazy when a child comes in looking for specific leveled books. They’ll say they can’t read something if not between lexile xx-xx. We need to end that. It’s killing their love of reading. Let them read what they want.

We don’t hear enough about just how much the NHS has relied on cleaners and domestics during the pandemic. We could not have got through this crisis without them.
