We've completed a massive 1km of river restoration in the Poaka catchment this summer. A significant de-culverting, riparian fencing, wetland scrapes and leaky dams!

This summer @HannahSCRT delivered a 45 metre deculvert, wetland scrapes and several leaky dams, all on one farm! These have created new #habitat, increased connectivity, biodiversity, slowed flows and improved water quality. Not bad ey?! #cumbria #farminginprotectedlandscapes

It was our annual #Patrons event last week in the #duddon valley, #cumbria. The weather didn't dampen spirits and they were treated to range of interventions that improve water quality, flood storage, river restoration and create new habitats.
