Great day yesterday at Brownstown Park for our Legends game. As we welcomed our good friends from Ballymacash Rangers Football Club Ballymacash Rangers Old Boys . The game was played in great spirits. With plenty of laughs and reminiscing back at the club house afterwards. Thank you to everyone that took part and we look forward to next year’s game. 💙

All at Hanover Football Club are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Ivan Orr. Another club stalwart from the clubs history sadly gone. Ivan was a hard working member, helping to bring stability, financial support and leadership to the club through his various roles over the years. We send our sincere condolences to the entire family circle at this very sad time 💙

His family was his world, and he was always their biggest supporter through every high and low. This year, we are honouring Terry by supporting a cause that is deeply personal to our family. His granddaughter Caitlin is currently in hospital, bravely battling anorexia — a fight no young person should ever have to face. Every day is a challenge, but she continues to show incredible strength. By supporting this year’s match, you are not only helping raise vital funds for the Adult Eating Disorder Unit, but also standing beside Caitlin and so many other families going through the same heartbreak.
