May 25 at 8pm (in the USA)the History channel is debuting its massive Second World War 20-part series "WW2 with Tom Hanks". It's a colossal endeavor with lots of new insights. Includes a FABULOUS group of contributors.
I was honored to be a part of it.

Just a reminder to all that "World War II with Tom Hanks" premiers at 8pm tomorrow on @HISTORY with a 3-episode drop followed by 17 more episodes on a once a week release schedule.

Honesly, I think most of your fans will agree that we want those CS episodes even if they don't make too much sense to you. Have you seen the current media landscape? ANYTHING you put out, even if you reiterate topics discussed elsewhere, would be a breath of fresh air to us! 🙏

It will rollout in 200 territories and be translated into 40 languages. It will kick off with three back-to-back episodes.
The people who put this together (in the UK and USA) are amazing folk.
I hope you'll check it out!
I know it's not what you're waiting for.
But here's an absolutely fascinating conversation with a nuclear history expert about Harry Truman and a completely new way to look at his role in the dropping of the atomic bombs.

The last one we did there sold out...hope we do that again! If you want to go, we'd love to have you.

En Route to Austin for the show tomorrow night, then Houston on Saturday and (other than Portland in Sept,) I think that'll probably be it for the year. Hope to see you!
Tickets available from dancarlin.com
So here is your Saturday question:
Does American get it yet? Do we — by which I mean citizens, institutions, and former guardrails — understand the full scope of what is happening? Do the courts, businesses, law firms, universities, media companies get it yet?

Just got the word that x.com/BenWrightintx of the 15 Minute History podcast will moderate our Aug 16th Houston show in addition to the Aug 15th Austin event. So for both shows I'd wager that means "WW1 is back on the menu boys!"
Tix available at dancarlin.com
Atlanta and Raleigh were really fun. Thanks to all who came out! Met some great people.
Austin and Houston (Aug 15th and 16th respectively) are next. Then one Portland show in Sept and that's it for the year I think.
Tickets for those shows available at dancarlin.com
@HardcoreHistory thoroughly enjoyed your talk last night here in Raleigh. John was a great compliment. I brought my son, who is a rising 9th grader. He enjoys history (military), causes of conflict- so a cool way for him to learn. Thank you for sharing your passion!
