We have renamed Class One "Frog" Class as we are all now genuine experts! Great presentations from our Year 1 and 2 children yesterday. 🐸

(cont'd) We spotted baby coots, ducks and swans on the lake before having a little picnic in the grounds of St. Andrew's Church. We are so lucky to learn in such beautiful surroundings.

(Cont'd) Year 2 were excited to see the wild flower seeds they had planted (when they were in Reception with members of the local community) in full bloom. We saw lots of pollinating insects visiting the flowers.

A huge thank you to Anouska from @WNDLRAirAmb who came to talk to us about the work of our local Air Ambulance. The children listened intently to her brilliant presentation and asked lots of great questions. Thank you to our families for your donations too.

Class One have been learning about the Amazon rainforest and reading Lynne Cherry's book The Great Kapok Tree. We saw some great team work and innovative ideas when re-creating the different levels and homes for our Amazonian animals in our garden.

Harlestone's Got Talent! We were treated to a wide variety of entertainment from pony jumping and Cowgirl dances, to musical performances, freeze frame animation, ballet... the list goes on. It was a great talent show! Thanks to the Treatastic team for the refreshments too!
