"I have had several, and all involve taking risks by accepting leadership positions to move to struggling sales organizations to help them become top-performing organizations. It’s very easy to stay comfortable leading top performers where the culture and results are great. You’re getting recognized, culture is positive, and you are comfortable. I like to take risks that push me out of my comfort zone where I learn new things, rebuild a culture, and help people be successful. One of my favorite quotes is 'Do something once a day that scares you.' I truly believe in that and in the fact that those organizational turnarounds from worst to first defined my career.
