Just taking a step back to feel very privileged and blessed to have grown up with a show like Doctor Who, and to have learnt the majority of my morals and beliefs from a 900 year old alien that travels time and space.
This song is ending... but the story never ends... ✨

The best thing the show can do now (when it eventually returns, which it will) is start completely fresh. 2005 vibe where The Doctor / the TARDIS appears and it’s a new face and a new story. Then in the future, like with the 50th anniversary, they can potentially revisit Billie.

Honestly, as a lifetime Doctor Who fan - the show going on a hiatus / being temporarily cancelled is for the best. I love Doctor Who, I really do, but some things deserve rest and after the last 5 years of… let’s be honest, sub-par (or worse) episodes, this is good.

Quelques infos #TheBoys dévoilées par Eric Kripke après le final. Je vous ai tout réuni ici (⚠️spoilers):
• L’équipe prévoyait la dernière scène entre Hughie et Butcher depuis le tout début. C’était le véritable conflit de la série.
• Il aurait adoré mettre un caméo de Queen Maeve mais Dominique McElligott ne joue plus et l’agenda n’était pas idéal.
• Il n’a pas voulu révéler si l’intrigue de ‘Vought Rising’ serait divisée en différentes timelines.
• Il n’a jamais été prévu que ce soit Soldier Boy ou les Gen V qui battent Homelander. Ça a toujours été autour de l’équipe The Boys, surtout Butcher.
• Une finale post apocalypse n’était pas ce qu’il voulait raconter, mais plutôt "un monde reconnaissable, proche de celui dans lequel nous vivons."
• Il ne pense pas qu’on reverra Hughie et Starlight après saison 5: "C’est la dernière fois dans cette histoire, oui"
• Deep n’allait jamais avoir un ‘redemption arc’: "je pense que son comportement dans l’épisode pilote est impardonnable"
• La version où Homelander s’en sortait sans ses pouvoirs n’était pas envisageable car il pouvait toujours se procurer du composé V et de retrouver ses pouvoirs.
• La scène où Butcher s’apprête, ou non, à lâcher le virus est laissée ouverte à l’interprétation de chacun. Mais il confirme que Butcher n’allait jamais s’arrêter.
