Most Web3 projects throw around big ideas like “fairness,” “decentralization,” and “AI integration”… but very few can actually visually express what those ideas mean in reality. So I explored this concept for @Bitplanet_AI a Web3 ecosystem focused on building a more perfect meritocracy, where value, contribution, and intelligence from both humans and AI determine how the system evolves. At its core, Bitplanet AI is about creating a digital civilization powered by the Bitplanet Ai - where humans and AI systems collaborate, contribute, and grow within a transparent, decentralized environment. The goal of this design wasn’t just to make something futuristic… it was to translate that entire philosophy into a single visual world. Here’s how I approached it ↓ 🎨 Concept - Execution Breakdown 1. Started with the core idea of a “digital planet of merit” - used a planetary structure to represent a unified ecosystem of humans AI working together 2. Built the visual direction around the Bitplanet brand identity - used orange as the primary brand color to maintain consistency and recognition - applied a smooth gradient background to create depth and a sense of scale 3. Developed the structure of the system - used planet forms as central anchors for key information and focal points - designed the composition to feel like a growing, interconnected digital world 4. Added interaction and energy - applied glow effects on icons to represent active participation and system engagement - used subtle lighting and reflections to suggest continuous movement within the ecosystem Final composition - carefully balanced contrast, spacing, and glow intensity - ensured the design felt clean, futuristic, and alive without visual overload The intention was simple: make the idea of a fair, intelligent, and collaborative digital system visually understandable at first glance. Web3 isn’t just about building systems — it’s about communicating what those systems represent. I focus on turning complex blockchain and AI concepts into visual narratives that people can instantly understand and connect with. So yesterday night I was thinking about this question: Do web 3 projects or brands in general still need graphic designers? I know you would have asked your self the same question and I'm here to answer it.. A thread.. Yes, Web3 projects still very much need graphic designers - arguably more than ever. Here's why: - AI doesn't replace designers, it changes what they do AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, etc.) handle repetitive or generative tasks, but they can't replace the strategic and creative thinking a designer brings. Someone still needs to direct the AI, curate outputs, and ensure everything feels cohesive and intentional. - Web3 specifically has high design demands **NFT projects** live or die by their visual identity - art direction, trait design, rarity systems, and collection aesthetics require skilled designers **DeFi & dApps** need clean, trustworthy UX/UI - users are handling real money, so poor design destroys credibility **Brand identity** - DAOs, protocols, and tokens all compete for attention and need logos, style guides, and marketing assets **Community & social content** — Discord banners, Twitter/X graphics, pitch decks, and whitepapers all need visual polish But What's actually changed? So I explored this concept for AutoMinds — an AI-powered system built around continuous execution, automation, and real-time intelligence. The goal wasn’t just to make something look good… it was to translate a complex idea into a visual that feels alive at first glance. Here’s how I approached it - 🎨 Concept - Execution Breakdown Started with the core idea of “continuous automation” → built around a circular loop to represent 24/7 execution and endless flow Moved into Photoshop → created the base structure using clean shape layers → applied metallic gradients to give it that premium, machine-driven feel → used blending modes to craft reflections and depth Added light energy details → glow effects to simulate active AI processes → highlights to represent trading signals and system feedback Final stage → balanced a dark background with luminous elements for strong contrast → refined composition to make the design feel dynamic, not static The intention was simple: make a still design feel like it’s constantly running. Web3 ideas are getting more complex — but attention is getting shorter. If your visuals can’t communicate instantly, you’re already losing people.
