Seven years ago, Duolingo launched with 4 courses, 100,000 learners, and a mission to make education free and accessible to everyone. Back then, we didn't imagine teaching 90 courses to 300 million learners and counting.

Dear @realDonaldTrump the US has repeatedly hurt these countries e.g. by overthrowing presidents at the request of American fruit companies, or by arming abusive military regimes in the name of “stopping communism.” The countries are in bad shape in part because of US influence.

.....Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador are doing nothing for the United States but taking our money. Word is that a new Caravan is forming in Honduras and they are doing nothing about it. We will be cutting off all aid to these 3 countries - taking advantage of U.S. for years!
