For toddlerโs holidays Iโve been teaching her to open her broken toys, & then I try to fix it (or we break it further).
Her fav toy was broken. I ripped off the speaker & connected an old earphone. Now works with one earphone ๐

earphone had 3 inner cables along with copper strands outside tiny cables. Had to burn 3 inner cables with a lighter to remove insulation and try connecting various combos to the toy (to find one earphone ground)

Gemini helped understand the earphone wires. Had to try a few combos to get it working.
After-thought: I should have put a 3.5mm jack to be able to connect a speaker or any earphone.

Friend got laid off from LTIMindtree in December.
Months later, he still hasnโt received a proper offer. Very few interview calls, and even after good interviews, HRs just disappear without response.
Job market right now genuinely feels brutal for many experienced IT employees.

implement <SPEC> and while you do, keep a running implementation-notes.html file (or markdown) with decisions you had to make weren't in the spec, things you had to change, tradeoffs you had to make or anything else I should know

New Web-based IRC client bouncer. Just connected to the elixir irc channel on LiberaChat ๐
Almost 9yrs later, the idea got done in a day including writing a new Elixir IRC client library with support for IRC v3 specs.

My new annotator identifies keycaps in keycap sets (for further training).
Powered OpenCV & yolo-11n-seg model trained IN THE BROWSER for every image!
I label a few keycaps, then the predict button trains a model on this image (8 secs) & predicts other keycaps.
