I needed to collect $5 from someone and instead of the whole "send me your account number" back and forth, I just created a payment link in like 30 seconds, sent it over and watched the money hit my dashboard in real time. That was it.
The app is called @Hash_PayLink and the thing that stood out to me immediately was how smooth the experience was for the person paying. They don't have to worry about gas fees at all, it's already handled on their end so there's zero friction. You just pay and it goes through.
They also have a multi-payer mode which I think is genuinely useful for group situations like splitting a restaurant bill or collecting for an event. Everyone enters their name before paying and you get a live dashboard tracking who paid and how much, and you can export the whole thing as a CSV with one click.
For my Nigerian people there's also a USDC to Naira off-ramp built in through @MySpenda so you can receive on Base or Solana and cash out directly without the usual third party stress.
Tried it this afternoon and it just worked the way it was supposed to. Sometimes that's all you need.
