Shop life: in the shared work areas, such as the printing presses, when someone is working on something that should not be moved, we put a little sign on it that simply says “Live.” This array of ink will be appearing on large-format prints coming to our gift shop this summer.
Daddy-o. Papa. Pops. Whatever words you use to describe the person who is always in your corner, remember to wrap them with a little extra love, and maybe something fun from our online shop, for this Father’s Day, June 22.

Try something different in July: go bananas with us! We’ll roll out the fabric, ink, and a cart full of printing blocks in this workshop, so participants can design and print their own bandana (or one for their four-legged friend)!

We are happy to see a couple of our posters hanging in a “creative kitchen!” As fellow inkyheart @/greenmachinecreative shares on Instagram, we LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing what you find inspiring enough to hang in the places you live and work every day. ❤️ Tag us on Instagram!
Shop life: preparing the press bed for printing is a time-consuming and tedious process—especially when it’s full of antique wood and metal type. Designer-printer Angelica has found her own way to settle in and stay focused on the task at hand! Also, check out that rainbow roll!

Stop in and see what we’ve done with the place! Our gift shop’s refresh created so much more room for browsing posters, prints, books, artful gifts and more – we’d love to show you!

Spotted in the wild! Hatch Show Print on Jeopardy last week! Wowee. Another fun fact about the posters the shop produced for Roy Acuff’s gubernatorial run is that they paid for our iconic neon sign—or at least that’s how we tell it!
We welcome visitors from around the world to Nashville on our tours, in the gift shop, and through the windows of our workshop, it’s a joy to be able to share this shop with our fellow Nashvillians. Stop in the next time you’re downtown or make a plan to get inky with us!
As many of us are fans of the “more is wonderful” approach to covering walls, we were delighted to see one of the shop’s classic prints nestled into this impressive display that would keep us engaged for hours (post by @alexandracharitan on Instagram). Tasty!
