Better later than never...@NicoleKilianPhD Kilian: thank you for this amazing interview. @WileyPolymers Mara Staffilani, David Huesmann, thank you to the whole Wiley Macro Rapid Communications Team for recognizing me with this Special Award....
Thanks to Janna Jeschke👩🔬from Prof. @HatisMutlu research group IS2M🇫🇷 for a very valuable seminar on metal-free upcycling of polybutadiene by sulfonamides, its characteristics and applicability❗️🧪
Fingers crossed for great results on polybutadiene functionalization by #ATRP🤞
We are delighted to welcome Janna Jeschke👨🔬from Prof. @HatisMutlu research group IS2M🇫🇷, who has joined @Chmielarz_Group as a visiting PhD student❗️During the internship she will develop the concept of polybutadiene functionalization by #ATRP🧪
Fingers crossed for great results🤞
Dear @garden_jenni , It was a pleasure and an honour to be your guest and to have the opportunity to interact not only with your valuable students, but also with some of the very talented and brilliant faculty members of the Faculty of Chemistry at The University of Edinburgh
It was an absolute joy to host @HatisMutlu@EdinburghChem yesterday! Thank you for your wonderful seminar and so many scintillating conversations - watch this space for future collaborations!! @GardenGroupChem
We have a great set of articles for you to read in our themed collection on Chalcogen-Containing Polymers! Follow the link to check them all out now. 👇

A "breathing" polycondensation: a potential low-energy platform for more-sustainable materials; credits to Yagmur Deniz Karatas who realizes any crazy idea which we brainstorm:)
Stay tuned...
Proudly announcing that our very own Adam Woodhouse won the award for the outstanding achievement in his masters thesis's project, "Bio-based Polymers with Unprecedented Tuneable Luminescence", which he has performed throughout his placement at Université de Haute-Alsace - UHA
...and dear Network here is the first publication of Adam' Master's thesis, a review on the topic of polythioesters! You can find the paper on the Wiley website: lnkd.in/dTHFu2Yy, and stay tuned for the next publication which is going to come out very soon...
Great to see everyone again at the @IUPACPolymer Education meeting in sunny #Birmingham ! We had a nice discussion on new and ongoing projects. 😎Keep a lookout for the updates on:
-Polymer syllabus
-Video competition
-Educational workshop @Macro2024

Thanks for sharing!!
The first conference of the year, the first time visiting the Land Down Under, the first time Keynote speaker at 38th Australasian Polymer Symposium: 38APS thanks to the kind invitation of @LeonieBarner Barner and the organizing committee.
Thanks to this, I had the opportunity to meet (again) many colleagues who I couldn’t meet during the last years, but also to get to know very valuable colleagues, some of them being from our "sulfur-based polymers" community (as Erin Leitao, Jeffrey Pyun, Justin M. Chalker).
We could also catch up with Jennifer Garden, who is the local supervisor of Adam Woodhouse (our visiting Master student from The University of Edinburgh).
...after such a start of the conference season, I am very looking forward to the next conferences...
My collegue PhD student Jan Hobich looks into the details of his photoswitches using a monochromatic light source and a photospectrometer with high temporal resolution in a collaborative project with @EvaBlascoPo and @HatisMutlu#takeover
