Also, he was given a very bad matchup against Adrian Mannarino in Hertogenbosch so itโ€™s hard to tell what level he will turn up to this one at but what we do know is Hamad Medjedovic is having the best season of his young career so far this year, he is currently on a 20-9 run and shown the ability to compete on all types of surfaces and his gas tank is getting better. Also, he has the game that can translate to success on grass, huge serve, can hit winners off both wings, razor thin drop shots and the raw power to end rallies. So when I weigh that up with the fact he is having the best season of his career I like him to continue that form onto grass and beat the inconsistent frenchman. Rinderknech made the quarter finals here last year, which is a big reason hes the favourite and brings motivation to the table for him but that run wasnโ€™t too impressive now its aged, he beat Ben Shelton, who we saw is not comfortable on grass and was even worse last year, Johannus Monday, Moutet and Opelkaโ€ฆ so he beat two serve bots, a very weak counterpuncher and a qualifier before losing to Alcaraz in straight sets. Donโ€™t get me wrong, Arthur Rinderknech is dangerous on grass and has the tools and experience to win this match but like I said consistency is a really big issue with him, iโ€™m siding with the momentum on Hamad Medjedovic here

Letโ€™s start with Clara Tauson, you can see she is on a six match losing streak and more importantly you saw her last match where she was beaten by a 17 year old in straight sets. You most likely also remember my write up when we bet on Magda Linette to beat that 17 year old the next day because I spoke about Clara Tauson. Clara Tauson has a prolapsed disc in her back but for short we will just call it a back injury that has been really troubling her this year. A professional has even gone to say the only way to resolve the problems would either be surgery or to focus on a special method of training, that can take up-to a year to see results from. So here is what I can take from this, Clara Tauson was obviously still feeling this back pain in her last match, she lost to a totally inexperienced youngster, who was then beaten comfortably by any other top 100 player she faced and she only hit a single ace on grass in that match. We also know, since the only fix is surgery or a year worth of training that she will be coming into this match with the same problem and this is the main reason Diane Parry is the favourite and its also the reason we are betting on her. Diane Parry was making strides before her injury, she is a very craft player who can flourish on grass as we have seen already in her short career, she has alot of variety, loves using slices and great movement but none of that matters when your facing an opponent who clearly isnโ€™t at 100%, she canโ€™t even use her biggest weapon (her serve) effectively because it puts too much strain on her back. If Clara Tauson wins this match, all logic goes out the window, I see a retirement incoming in this one, use a retirement book to save yourselves.

People saw the big serve of Martin Damm and saw the losing streak for Jenson and thought it was free money but you need to remember Brooksby is one of the best returners/counter punchers on tour and his unorthodox playing style is so hard to matchup against on grass, that was always going to be a tough one for Damm and to get plus money on it was a bonus. Always consider Jenson Brooksby a threat on grass my people, I learned this the hard wayโ€ฆ

Henry Searle is a very talented youngster, he is a 6โ€4 lefty with a HUGE serve and forehand and decent movement, he is built for winning fast points and he is a junior Wimbledon champion, which he won without dropping a set and he also beat Joao Fonseca on the way to the title. He has little main tour experience and even though grass is not his favourite surface, he can most definitely play on it, in his short time on tour he has beaten the likes of Bu Yunchaokete on grass, Shevchenko and Coleman Wong. Iโ€™m also not worried about the Karl Poling loss as we saw he was a few games into the tournament and his body gave up because Poling was grinding him out but Elias Ymer isnโ€™t a Karl Poling and he canโ€™t do that to Searle here. I think for the most part it will be a serve off but I like Searle to dictate and get them breaks.

๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท Alex Pereira vs Ciryl Gane ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท Recency bias really is a thing and I think itโ€™s being factored into this fight too muchโ€ฆ Before Gane fought Tom Aspinall nobody had much respect for him, we were calling him a washed up podcaster, we said he always chokes when the lights are too bright but now because he got the better of Tom Aspinall for half a round before the fight was called off for something he DID, he is now some bogeyman in the division again and to many he should be the champion. Iโ€™m not fully sold on that idea and I know you can make the argument that he had to fight Ngannou and Jones, who are two of the baddest men to ever do it but I mean your argument here is he pieced up Aspinall for half a round. This is the same guy who got dropped by Tai Tuivasa for god sake, Alex Pereira has some of the nastiest leg kicks in the game, that can really affect the movement of someone like Gane and that would fuck his night up royally as without his fluid movement he becomes a liability on the feet, yes he can try and wrestle but I mean are you sure that is the path he wants to go down? He tried that same shit against Frances Ngannou and many say that is what fucked him over in that fight! Alex Pereira is chasing history, the heavyweight division is in absolute shambles right now and him becoming a champion at this weight would be creating history and also it would be the best possible outcome for the UFC, many are backing Gane but the line hasnโ€™t moved at all and iโ€™ve seen this scenario happen before, this is a very tough fight to call but people gave seen one or two clips of Pereira sparring and they are getting way to carried away here, the issue is if Gane wrestles and has success he could look -1000 but donโ€™t think Pereira canโ€™t go in there and knock him out too. I just canโ€™t back a guy who always chokes when it matters most at pick em odds.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Oโ€™Malley vs Zahabi ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Look, I respect Aimann Zahabiโ€™s brother, the man is an amazing coach but thats where my praises stop as far as we go here. The truth is Aimann Zahabi is on one of the most flukiest runs in recent history, he was almost finished by Jose Aldo, got dropped by Chito Vera and I will give him credit for being extremely durable but this is such a bad look coming into this fight. Chito Vera is famously known for not hitting that gear when he has his opponents hurt and Jose Aldo was on the backend of his career so I mean how impressive are these wins when you think of them like that. Sean Oโ€™Malley definitely isnโ€™t the fighter he once was, I personally think he lost to Song Yadong but they will do everything in their power to help Sean win a decision and I just donโ€™t see Aimann Zahabi being able to outpoint him to a decision victory, Sean Oโ€™Malley can most definitely hurt him badly if he Aldo and Vera were able to and moments like that should decide this fight in his favour as I see this one going to decision and Aimann Zahabi is going to have to do something really special to beat Oโ€™Malley in the USA on the scorecards, he lacks power, has been hurt before and is pushing 40. I just think this run Zahabi has been on is fraudulent and I aso believe Sean Oโ€™Malley is slightly washed but there is still a clear level difference here for me, maybe its not as big of a difference a ssome of the other fights but iโ€™d be shocked to see Sean lose a decision in the USA

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Derrick Lewis vs Josh Hokit ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ We all might hate the persona of Josh Hokit but donโ€™t underestimate this guy, yes he is on the smaller side for a heavyweight but the pace he pushes at this weight group is very impressive and donโ€™t be fooled by the physique this guy is a very good athlete considering his weight class. Derrick Lewis is the most unserious fighter you can come across, he possesses the ability to end a fight with a single punch but his gas tank is laughable and we all saw how his last fight went down, he sat down and quit, which is a HORRIBLE look knowing heโ€™s coming up against a guy who pushes a high pace. Iโ€™m not completely counting out Derrick Lewis here, if we look at Josh Hokits last fight we saw how he was also hittable and Curtis Blaydes does not have the power that Derrick Lewis does so early in the fight Lewis is always going to be a knockout threat but the longer this one goes on the more that that threat fades out and then you have to favour Hokit to take over with his pressure and make Lewis quit. Also, you have to remember Derrick Lewis retired and has come back under special circumstances for this card, this fight was the last fight to be added to the card and you honestly have to question whether Derrick Lewis is actually motivated to come back or he is just chasing a cheque, which sounds like the more likely thing here. This isnโ€™t the same Derrick Lewis we are used to seeing, I think Josh Hokit breaks him with pressure and finishes the fight in round two via submission or KO
