Reasons the Pillar trade is maybe okay:
1. Jays needed space to play both McKinney and Hernandez in the OF
2. Pillar probably knew that he wasn't gonna be part of the Vlad Jr rebuild and maybe he wanted a trade? (not entirely sure)
