I started this project alone.
The road was rough — a lot of doubts, setbacks, and obstacles along the way.
Over time, the team grew, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built together.

I really enjoy mixing math driven systems with handcrafted techniques in game development. It can create an incredibly immersive feel for worldbuilding. Things like combining randomized spawns with probability curves tied to player progression, while placing them within carefully designed biomes and story driven spawn weights, make the world feel both dynamic and believable. It's overwhelmingly satisfying when you finally nail that balance between systemic design and intentional craftsmanship.

Sometimes, when working on a game, you reach a point where you have to ask yourself: is this feature really worth the time?
This part of the map was originally planned as a scenic cliff area with waterfalls and lots of environmental detail. But pulling that off properly would require a huge amount of custom diagonal assets.
For now, the priority is finishing what's essential. The fancy stuff can come later.

I generally enjoy working on data serialization, but gosh, serializing an entire storyline turned out to be such a pain. Glad it’s over :)

While working on unsettling creatures, I always wonder what the most important feature is. What makes people hate spiders? Is it the erratic movement, the way their legs move, or something else? 🤔
Deep within the forests, there are places where sunlight rarely reaches. In the half-light, hidden from human sight, dwell creatures whose existence few still remember. What drives the people who worship them? That is a good question.

"Here comes the Jester.
He speaks in riddles - always in riddles - and somehow, despite their madness, they remain your only explanation for what is unfolding around you."

"A sweet old lady… a bit eccentric, but she has always taken care of us. My grandmother is a treasure trove of knowledge! You just have to understand it, which isn’t always easy. My dad always used to say that Grandma remembers the beginnings of our caravan, but I find that hard to believe - she can’t even remember what she had for dinner yesterday. What I do know for sure is that it’s always worth going to my grandmother with your problems. Even if she doesn’t help, at least she won’t tell anyone - because she’ll forget!"

"Nothing sparks the imagination quite like the remnants of the ancient world. Places of worship, forgotten power, and the promise wealth draw followers in. When the real world is replaced by the mist of ritual, fanaticism emerges. Beware-there are no people more dangerous than believers who have nothing left to lose."
