#OTD 10 years ago I witnessed my #1 tornado of all time near Chapman, KS. Documented this tornado for 90 minutes from start to finish across its 16 mile path with multiple close range intercepts and a singular tornado taking on about every shape and size possible. I’m not sure this tornado ever will ever be topped from its benchmark. I’ll remember this chase for the rest of my life.

Another fun issue for the mix is 5000 people descending on a community that normally sees about 300 with enough bad apples driving like fucking assholes while they try to shelter or respond, someone is absolutely going to get shot by a local on one of these setups.
