merry christmas tommy. as we integrate eternal ai with multiple chains, we’ve been thinking a lot along these lines too.
i think there are 3 stages that Crypto x AI agents will go through.
1) stage 1: AI agents are deployed on existing blockchains, because the chains are already there with their users and liquidity.
this is the stage the crypto x ai space is in.
this is why eternal ai is strategically deploying our protocol on 10 chains.
2) stage 2: AI agents will have their own chains, so they enjoy their own blockspace, customize the chain to their own specs, earn fees, and get a better valuation.
launching a chain today is easy. you don’t need an army of phds and programmers. we already have 1-click zk rollup deployments.
this is why eternal ai is working on BitAI, building out a network of AI chains.
3) stage 3: i begin to think that at some point, we’ll begin to realize that the current blockchain architectures are not the best fit for AI agents. it seems “forced”.
i think there will be better network designs that work better for agents. some form of blockchains, but not in the form of the current “traditional” blockchains like ethereum, bittensor, bitcoin, solana, etc.
aka “the next paper newspaper is not newspaper dot com but twitter”.
i’m less clear on this but we are running some experiments along this line on a new architecture that fits “natively” for ai agents.
lol my fingers are exhausted on the phone. hope you make it to the end here.
