I can totally relate. Living in crowdy cities abroad is tiring for some of us, mostly because weβve had too much of it already back home. So coming abroad, you just want the peace and quiet to enjoy your life. While back home, itβs just already a part of you and living elsewhere will seem really odd. Itβs a mentality kinda thing tho, if you know you know and if you donβt, you wonβt understand.π―
I always wonder if I would love Lagos if I wasnβt born here. People who come from outside Lagos never seem to like it.
It explains why I donβt like London. People get confused because I like Lagos and I explain that they might be similar but Lagos is home, London is not. I prefer quiet cities in the UK but I like my Lagos because I was born and raised in the chaos. Iβm always in a hurry to leave London.
I donβt know if it makes sense but na so e be.
