Oh, that took me a minute. @AppSell uses Lightning Network. Guess that makes sense.

Okay, here's something I just noticed. Whenever @Spotify plays something from the Star Wars soundtrack, its song progress bar changes into a lightsaber. Try it.

Okay, @X still has an impersonator account problem. I reply to one @JoelKatz tweet and suddenly I get followed by three of the likely many scammers who are impersonating him.

Maybe when @Google gets better at finding that one old news thing I remember seeing a few years ago, I'll start using its search engine again.

There may be a market for a "decentralized AI" where you can pay for what you need with digital assets. It doesn't even have to be a native asset. Like, pay three $DOGE for a draft of that blog post you want to write or something.

If @WaltDisneyWorld starts planning now, it might be able to come up with something epic to do for this. #SolarEclipse

If Big Pharma really wanted to be convincing, it would never have spent so much money on advertising.
#ICYMI: #BigPharma’s been caught in a lie. The industry has long claimed that drug prices have to be high for R&D into new, innovative medications, but new research suggests that’s not the case. bit.ly/4od5B5x

One possible explanation for that story where Jesus turned water into wine: He was trying to show a bunch of drunk people how to filter water to make it drinkable. #JustSaying

Found a 1997 book titled "Road Runnner Guide to Cyberspace" at a thrift shop. It's interesting to see a snapshot of what the Internet looked like. Experts were already aware of some cybersecurity risks like social engineering attacks and credit card information getting stolen.

"We need your help to feed hungry children!" "Best I can do is $1." "Fuck you." "Yeah, fuck you too, I got bills to pay." -The gist of a real interaction I saw between somebody doing fundraising and some dude who was probably struggling to stay afloat financially as it was.

.@StephenAtHome Hey, I know shit sucks. I recommend starting your own podcast. Preferably self-hosted since obviously there's no guarantee that you won't be deplatformed the instant you make someone mad.

Cash is always on and never has a technical glitch, just sometimes clerks who can't do math in their heads. And Bitcoin is always on and will usually work for as long as you have Internet access or a Bluetooth connection.
Last night there was a massive card payment outage affecting mostly Scandinavia but also many European countries There was a problem with the payment company Nets and with many of their payment terminals This is an excellent opportunity to remember REJECT the cashless agenda

That thing about Legolas being able to run so easily over snow has to be a joke that we never realized was a joke. Probably something to do with him being an elf. 🧑‍🎄 #Tolkien #LOTR #JustSaying

Just saw #Elio. Not to spoil anything, but it seems to be a running joke that the computer that's supposed to know anything also knows the meaning of life. Which, as you may already know, is obviously 42.
