People buy into it because media literacy so low - you see the same lines & lies parroted online and offline.

Sorry but the real issues with social media are online/media literacy (mainly with older generations), algorithms pushing far right hatred and people posting and profiting from their kids. The route should be education > regulation > investing in things for kids to DO before bans

Restrictions on monetised content featuring children
