Be sure to make a visit to the Kirkbymoorside Fair on Saturday in the Memorial Hall from 10 am. Lots of stalls: Crafts, local associations and businesses. Rotary will be running the cafe and a tombola stall. What does Rotary do? Drop in and say hello.
Splendid away day at the Beck Isle Museum at Pickering. Fascinating look at local history including printing, farming and local shops. Must have a return visit. Afterwards a lovely lunch at Bothom's cafe in the town.

Interesting meeting away from our Kirkbymoorside base when we were given a tour of Lastingham Church. This was a convenient place to have lunch just across the road at the Blacksmiths. @VisitRyedale

Busy weekend and we are looking forward to it. Saturday sees us supporting @YorksAmbulance with a collection at Kirkbymoorside A170 at the @letouryorkshire. On Sunday we are running a water station for the @KMS10K at High Hagg Farm. This is @RotaryGBI in action. Give us a wave.

A talk on the Kirkbymoorside Shopping Guide and Directory was given by June Emerson at this week’s meeting. June, who is a wind music supplier, explained how she collates this useful information during summer in a view to publishing in the autumn. @kirkby_library
