My first shout today in the new roll as Station Manager for Helston community fire station.
I am very proud and look forward to continue working with all the firefighters at Helston and beyond and serving the local community.

During the month of June, we celebrate #LGBTQI in a number of different ways. Across the globe, events are held during this month to recognise the influence LGBTQI people have had around the world & to raise awareness of the injustice& inequalities which still exist in society.
Helston Crews joined St Keverne, Mullion, Falmouth, Tolvaddon, Penzance and Hayle for large wildlife at Zoar on the Lizard peninsula crews were on scene through the night till morning
Two appliances from Helston called to wildfire tonight on Digibna side of Loe pool, crews carried potable pump on foot around half a mile to the fire and extinguished the fire.
Critical Control have received calls to bonfires out of control, please think is it really necessary to have a bonfire and if you still wish to proceed then ensure that you have put in place all necessary precautions.
