What a wild few days it's been! It all came to a head last Friday.
We announced a new internal game, launched a front page featured Steam event / showcase and released a published game all within 3 hours 😬
Alongside continued development on Empires of the Undergrowth, the dev team at Slug Disco have been working a way on a new internal project "Ants Times Infinity" (wishlist now on Steam:
store.steampowered.com/app/4…)
We started teasing the community about it earlier in the week and there was a lot of excitement in the Discord before we announced it and shared the teaser trailer.
After we pushed the button setting the store page live, I swiftly turned my attention to the premiere of the Earth Appreciation Festival showcase which premiered on the Slug Disco YouTube channel, hosted by Dr Simon Clark, the showcase featured trailers and announcements from over 30 games! You can watch it here:

This video kicked off the Earth Appreciation Festival Steam sale which is still live on Steam here:

And then finally we jumped ship to pushing the big scary green Release button on The Ember Guardian, the latest game we are publishing here at Slug Disco.
This has been our best publishing release to date and we secured New & Trending over the weekend despite there being some massive releases in the chart (anyone heard of Pragmata?)

The weekend was spent deep in the trenches of Community Management responding to all the feedback that came in.
Now almost a week on from all this it's starting to calm down again- oh wait no it's not, in 8 days our first console launch (our published game
@HorticularGame is launching on Nintendo Switch)
We better get back to work....
