1. External Fee Billing
2. Linked Account Billing
3. Debit Another Account For Fees
The idea is to eliminate the drag created by fees on the investment contributions and, in turn, maximise compounding on the account
Creative, not illegal

Yes you are. The limit only applies to funds in aka deposits into the TFSA account, dividends are excluded. You can reinvest your dividends, you sell and buy stock within your TFSA as well.

So, if lets say I maxed my TFSA contribution for the year (In June for argument sake) and I get dividends in subsequent months of the financial year. Am I allowed to reinvest the dividends into my TFSA? Would that not go beyond the limit?

You have an emergency fund, and want to use it for non-emergencies
It’s the reason purpose funds(e.g. pension funds and retirement annuities) are suggested because without a “tag”, people generally stray and end up not meeting their goals 🤷🏾♂️
