Wishing all our children, families, staff and volunteers a very Happy New Year. We hope 2024 will be a really positive year for us all and will be full of health and happiness. 🫶
Looking forward to seeing lots of our families, this afternoon, for our performance of ‘Hosanna Rock’ at 1.30pm at the Lighthouse Church. The children sounded amazing in the rehearsal yesterday !
The Outstanding Commitment to the Environment shortlist.
Judges said: "Heswall Primary have made excellent progress with a series of initiatives to enhance their environmental commitment. In addition, they have shared their practice widely to allow others to progress too."
A big thank you to The Lighthouse Church, Heswall for inviting us to their Harvest service today and to our parents and grandparents who brought the children to the service. We were very proud of our children singing ‘Planet Full of Plastic’ and they really enjoyed taking part.
Three of our pupils have taken #heswalloceanblue to Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre, where they learnt about Marine Conservation. They even met a pod of wild dolphins. They visited the National Botanic Garden of Wales & had some close encounters with some feathered friends!
A big part of the #heswalloceanblue campaign has been making our collaborative film ‘A World Full of Wildlife’, which premiered @TheLightCinema in July.
We can now share this film with the world ! So please share this link far and wide 🐳 vimeo.com/842485014/e68b80db…
