#HispanicHeritageMonth My mother told me stories about a great Mayan warrior who ruled in what is now Guatemala, Tecún Umán. Like US history, Hispanic heritage is complicated, layered, beautiful, & vibrant. The stories of our indigenous community are a key part of that story.
