Because my grandmother passed from COVID in March of 2020, we were never able to give her a proper send-off. This fall, I wrote a piece in her honor, and 65 incredible musicians helped me bring it to life. Link to full performance in next tweet.

This is how you network organically. The composer I work with (@HiChrisRyan) has been working with me since we met in film school. Last year I reached out to him to do the music for my latest animated short, and I learned he did the score for Hundreds of Beavers. (@beaversfilm)
Ryan Coogler has found so much success by pairing up with college friends like Ludwig Gรถransson. Good reminder that networking, especially in creative industries, isnโt always about climbing the ladder. Youโve got to network horizontally as well.
