Let’s be honest here; sports teams (and I am a true sports fan) were NOT given Native American names to honor indigenous heritage! Why not revert to the indigenous, Native American name of the mountain, Denali, to restore the honor that you have taken from the people who have lived on that land more more than 1,000 years and see it as sacred, an embodiment of their ancestors and life itself.
