I recently met with Representatives Sarah Lemieux and George Stacy from the @HoChunkNationPR's legislature. We talked about a number of issues, including ways to honor the 14 Ho-Chunk veterans who the U.S. Department of Defense officially recognizes as Code Talkers.

Today, with @HoChunkNationPR President WhiteEagle, we raised the flag of the Ho-Chunk Nation at Bascom Hall.
This is the first of three times this fall that the flag will fly over campus, on land recognized as the ancestral home of the Ho-Chunk people.
