While Trump is out there saying the deal is basically done and could be signed this weekend, Tehran is publicly saying ānot even close.ā
The gap between Trumpās victory lap and Iranās cold water is almost painful.

Iranian state media is projecting a message completely detached from President Trumpās narrative.
So far, not a single major Iranian outlet is signaling anything remotely close to the optimism coming out of Washington.

For those still actually following #natgas:
Looking for a build of around 80 bcf in tomorrow's EIA report. It will increase the surplus vs the 5 yr avg by 17 bcf, but cut the YoY deficit from 142 to 117 bcf.

FWIW, I tend to follow the YoY differences more closely, myself, given how this market has changed over the last few years (huge increase in renewables, LNG, etc), which makes a 5 yr comparison less useful, IMO.

BREAKING: The UAE will leave OPEC and OPEC on May 1, ending 59 years of membership. The UAE is OPEC's third-largest producer and directly cited the Strait of Hormuz crisis in its decision.
