Skeleton Crew's first two episodes have been a decent start to a kids adventure series. I like how the characters are essentially in-universe Star Wars fans, making them relatable. They've struck a good balance of new content with nostalgia to make it grounded in Star Wars.

One thing I can't wrap my head around is why they chose to pay homage to Michael Jackson's Captain EO by including characters from it. Just bizarre given allegations, especially as it's a show for kids. Seriously, were Disney execs high when they decided this was a good idea?

James Earl Jones made Darth Vader the most iconic movie villain of all time. His vocal depth gave Vader his most distinctive feature. His charisma, skill & breadth of acting added emotional weight that made Vader so menacing. RIP, James. Star Wars fans will always remember you.

I welcome and celebrate diversity in Star Wars. But diversity alone should never be a reason to claim a terrible show is good, nor should it ever be a basis to criticise it. The Acolyte's inclusive casting did not make it a good show, nor was it the cause of it being awful.

Let's be clear on The Acolyte's cancellation. Just because some incels and racists now claim victory does not mean that the show was cancelled due to their bigoted criticisms. It was cancelled because it was a terrible show. That's it.

The Acolyte's cancellation is a indictment of Disney's failure to maintain quality Star Wars content. There's no excuse for delivering a show that poorly written. They had a massive budget and an open canvas to create something original and spectacular. It's an insult to fans.

The Acolyte was so bad that Disney literally preferred to leave it totally unfinished, with new lord characters and plot lines abandoned in the universe, than finish it. What a shocking waste of potential for the first live action show set outside of the main timeline.

Diego Luna on Andor Season 2: "It's going to make you witness the journey of Rogue One in a different way." I love this! Rogue One made us experience A New Hope in a different way. Now Andor will make us experience Rogue One in a different way. This is how prequels add value.

Why do Disney hold huge private trailer screenings when they know they'll inevitably be leaked? What a pity that Andor S.2 and The Mandalorian & Grogu trailers will be viewed by millions of fans through poor quality second hand phone footage. Just release the damn trailers.

I'm totally comfortable with Star Wars content that's just made for kids, but Earth-like 80s suburbs and dogs in the Star Wars universe? Oh and yet another Jedi that miraculously survived Order 66? Sheesh. Disney has literally given up.

Disney thinks this title is so simple and descriptive that it's cute and quaint, but it's actually just astonishingly lazy and clashes with 'The Mandalorian' series title. A movie title should be symbolic and evocative of its purpose and themes.

I just finished The Acolyte. Yet more Disney garbage where you have to be brain dead for the plot to make any sense. Weak characters. Horrific pacing. Poor world-building. I utterly despair at Disney's total inability to exert quality control over Star Wars despite huge budgets.

Seeing Plagueis in episode 8 was briefly exciting and well produced. Then I realised what a massive shame it is that his live-action reveal - as one of the characters with most fan curiosity since first mentioned in ROTS in 2005 - is encased by this otherwise awful series.

The Acolyte felt like watching a fan-made movie. Huge wasted potential. It was the first series from a different era. The opportunities for new characters and plots was endless. It also wasted potential to delve into Sith ideology, which could have added depth to the SW universe.

Devastated to learn that Carl Weathers has passed. In a short amount of time, Carl became an adored member of the Star Wars family for his alluring portrayal of Greef Karga - a role that became iconic thanks to his masterful acting. Thank you, Carl. We will always remember you.
