Bonus Hollander POTD Chuck Nevitt. NC St big had 5.5 ppg, was drafted 63rd by HOU in 82. Could block shots but was unskilled on O & not strong for his size. Still, lasted 11 yrs as deep bench C. Teams constantly tried to fatten him up. Now works in IT.

Nevitt scored double figures only once in his NBA career, 1/7/87 v NY in a blowout. NY coach Bob Hill complained loudly that the refs were letting Nevitt travel: nytimes.com/1987/01/08/sport…

Jamison's last year at UNC, 97-98, was Bill Guthridge's first yr as coach after Dean Smith retired. They went 34-4 and made the Final Four w/Shammond Williams & Vince Carter also starring. Both centers Makhtar N'Diaye & Brendan Haywood also made the pros.
