Here are a few names in the mix for the Florida State job, sources told @TheFieldOf68:
Celtics assistant Sam Cassell
Kings assistant Luke Loucks
UAB coach Andy Kennedy
Arkansas State coach Bryan Hodgson
Samford coach Bucky McMillan
Duke assistant Chris Carrawell
More details emerging from settlement between ACC, FSU and Clemson via sources. Exit fee is expected to drop by $18 million each year through 2029-30. After that, exit fee drops to $75 million and any exiting team will retain is media rights.
If this is true, I would like it significantly less than hiring Luke or Sam purely because I think FSU is a tough job and you need a legacy to ensure they stick around. But if you are going external, this guy knows ball.

I believe Malique Ewin would be the perfect person to replace Amari Williams next year for Kentucky.
Ewin is a 6-foot-11, 230-pound, junior forward and has been playing great for Florida State. Ewin on the season has 14 PPG, 7.8 RPG, and 1.8 APG. #BBN
If FSU and Clemson had no leverage and no landing spots then why did the rest of the league agree to a payout model that pays them 15m more per year and reduce GOR exit fee by over 86% 6 years early?
Key details:
*40% of TV money distributed evenly among legacy ACC schools. 60% percent by ratings based formula over last five years.
*Top ACC earners could net more than $15 million, while some schools will see a net deduction in annual payout of about $7 million.
*Total cost to exit the league 29-30 is expected to drop to below $100 million dollars.
