The decision was not made lightly however; the inclement weather including high winds and heavy rain made this necessary. Although our website messaging states rain or shine, we felt this weather was a lot worse than anticipated. While at the location we tried to find an alternative, but were unsuccessful. ALT Survivors Of Suicide Loss Support Program Starting Tuesday September 23, 2025 7 – 9 p.m. (zoom) for 10 weeks. A peer support group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one by suicide. The aftermath of suicide ripples through the lives of those left behind. Grieving is not a weakness; it is a necessity. YOU ARE NOT ALONE… The death of a loved one is always difficult. However, that difficulty is amplified when it is a suicide loss. Are you feeling terribly alone? That no one understands your loss? Are you overwhelmed with feelings of guilt, anger or shame? Do you want to grieve without fearing the reactions of others or the stigma that can accompany a suicide death? Do you want to talk and share with others who have been through a similar loss? THE PROGRAM This FREE 10-week peer support program is facilitated by trained volunteers who have themselves experienced loss by suicide.
