Roman Sandler, a father of three young children, released the only children's book on the current Israel-Hamas war called, "Under the Rockets' Glow."
It's a touching, beautifully-illustrated story about an Israeli father explaining the conflict to his daughter and telling her about the resilience of the Jewish people throughout history.
Roman wrote it after he tried to communicate what was happening Oct. 7 and after to his own 5-year-old daughter in a subtle way she could understand.
Mayim Bialik, star of "The Big Bang Theory" and former "Jeopardy" host, was so moved by the book that she posted about it.
And then, the pro-Hamas crowd caught onto Roman's book because of Mayim's post. Suddenly, Roman experienced an explosion of hate: Review bombing on Amazon, dragging his book's rating down, thousands of threatening messages on social media, and disparaging tweets that he's promoting "genocide."
So what can you do to help Roman?
A.) Go and buy the book and leave a good review on Amazon (
amazon.com/Under-Rockets-Glo…). It's well deserved.
B.) Spread the word far and wide on social media and among your friends and family.
C.) If you're in the media, DM me for an interview. I'm Roman's publicist, and he's willing to speak out and fight back against the hate.
