We have been fascinated in FS2 watching our tiny caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies. We've cared for them and observed each stage of their life cycle. Now the butterflies are ready, it's time to set them free and let them begin their journey in the great outdoors!

Year 2 have been reading the story โThe Secret Sky Gardenโ and have been inspired by the flowers from the story to make wire sculptures in the style of Georgia OโKeefe. We sculpted the flowers, used clay to make a base for them and added the colour to make a colourful garden!

We conducted an experiment in F2 this week to help us to learn about the function of a plant stem๐ฑ
We were amazed to discover that the coloured water had transported right up to the petals and changed the colour of them!
