In the early hours of this morning, I directed our Armed Forces to intercept a shadow fleet oil tanker attempting to pass through the English Channel.
This successful operation delivers yet another blow to Russia and reminds those fueling Putin's war in Ukraine that we will not let them hide.
I want to thank those involved, including our Armed Forces and law enforcement officers who keep this country safe 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Every foreigner who is here sends a message to the people of this incredible country: You are not alone. We support your fight. Be is at the supermarket, on the bus or at a Restaurant. Speak in your native language and see a surprised smile in peoples faces.
You support local Economy. You show your support simply by presence. You get incredible good food and beverage at very reasonable prices. You get a sense of what these people have gone through the past 4 years.
Come by Car, Mini Bus, Flixbus, train ... but come and support Ukraine.
(Maybe they journey to Ukraine itself will be the most dangerous part of your trip. Roads and drivers are bad 🤣🤣)

When we welcomed the start of dialogue with @YouTube, we said we trusted it would lead to consistent results.
Today it has. YouTube has begun global removal of videos promoting Alabuga and other sanctioned entities. We welcome this decision and expect the process to continue.
Alabuga is a Russian weapons factory. The Shahed drones assembled there are killing Ukrainian children in their beds, striking maternity hospitals, and destroying residential buildings across our cities on a near-daily basis.
Alabuga is recruiting teenagers, some as young as 15, to work on those very production lines. Platforms that carry promotional content for Alabuga are not neutral service providers. They are part of the chain that sustains that production and enables Russian atrocities.
YouTube recognised this and acted. Structured, direct dialogue with a platform of global reach produced a global result. We are grateful for that.
We now call on all other major platforms to act without delay. The Alabuga recruitment campaign is active. It targets young people. It operates across multiple platforms simultaneously.
Every day of inaction is another day that content recruiting teenagers to a sanctioned weapons manufacturer reaches its intended audience on the open internet.
We are ready to extend the same dialogue to any platform prepared to act on the same basis.

Сьогодні я хочу, щоб ми згадали і вшанували цього відважного воїна, бо рівно рік тому, 9 червня 2025 року, його життя обірвалося…
Після полону він міг залишитися вдома, поряд із рідними, почати жити тихим мирним життям. Але не зміг дивитися, як ворог топче його землю. Тому знову став до лав ЗСУ. Знову пішов захищати Україну.
Він витримав kатування, біль і нелюдські випробування в полоні і все одно повернувся до побратимів на передову. Та, на жаль, серце воїна не витримало, надто важчі знущання пережив він в полоні…
Його слова: «Я про нього рік мріяв», сказані про звичайне яблуко після звільнення, тоді торкнулися мільйонів людей. Бо в ту мить кожен зрозумів справжню ціну простих речей: свободи, дому, життя…
Сьогодні боляче усвідомлювати, що тієї щирої усмішки більше немає.

Do not forget who did this.
On June 6, 2023, Russia destroyed the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant dam. The area was under Russian control. They were prepared, releasing statements within minutes blaming Ukraine.
One of the biggest failures I witnessed in journalism and politics that day was how many American media outlets repeated Russian claims without proper scrutiny, context, or disclaimers. Meanwhile, Ukraine was rescuing people and trying to determine exactly what had happened before issuing an official statement.
Working on Capitol Hill that day, I remember only a handful of lawmakers saying Russia should be held accountable. Others, including then-Congressman and current UN Ambassador Mike Waltz (@michaelgwaltz ), argued that Russia had no reason to blow up the dam (video attached).
Today, I want to remind everyone: Russia started this war, and Russia bears responsibility for every single act of devastation and every atrocity that has followed.

Ever wondered why Russian “bikers” sometimes explode like video game red barrels once they get hit?
The answer lies in one of their not-so-new tactics:
- Cram as much explosives and IEDs as they can into their backpacks
- Rush through our killzone on motorcycles
- Hope not to get killed on their way
- Whoever is lucky enough to reach our positions throws those IEDs into our dugouts, thus destroying them and everyone inside
But as you can see, two can play that game.
Many of those explosive loads are unstable, improvised, or built around repurposed munitions. So when our drones catch them on the move, every “biker” has a chance to turn into a spectacular ka-boom.
