At Skerries Midsummer Festival today there's a sandcastle competition at 12, beach and family fun activities, music by Skerries Ukulele Strummers and all the fun of the fair, culminating in an Abba evening: Mama Mia movie at 4.30 and an Abba Tribute act on stage at 6.

Summer starts here! The Skerries Midsummer Festival kicks off today at 2! On the programme today you have all the fun and food of the fair plus an outdoor movie at 4pm and a Westlife and Take that Tribute band at 6pm.
